Joel is from the Ch'ol indian group and is now living in Palenque. He speaks Ch'ol and Spanish fluently and is learning some English. He and Nathan go way back to 1996 when the Terrell gang first came to Chiapas. He and his wife Zaremi have two kids. God has gifted him in many ways; he is skilled in village medicine, leads worship with guitar and song, has experience as a youth pastor, and translates and interprets between Ch'ol and Spanish. He and Zaremi are now church planting in Palenque and working in the near by villages with the PWP.
Current projects, praises, and prayer requests:
He is planting a new church in Palenque and working in near by villages.
He is using the PWP in his village work along with agricultural education and other community development services.
Please pray for financial support and a small vehicle for their ministry.
